Proposal | Alison + Richard | MET, NYC
This post marks my final photoshoot for 2024, a truly special proposal between Richard and Alison, themed around uncertainty and hope.
Like many of life’s most beautiful moments, this proposal was filled with delightful unknowns. Would we brave the cold weather of Central Park, or seek the grandeur of the Metropolitan Museum of Art? Would the unpredictable New York weather cooperate? And could we successfully capture the proposal inside the Met without raising any eyebrows?
The day arrived, and with it, the rain. Our initial plan shifted, and we embraced the backup location: the halls of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It was a testament to the beauty of letting things unfold naturally. We roamed, capturing candid moments amidst timeless art, a perfect backdrop for Richard and Alison’s love story.
The rain, which initially seemed like a hurdle, became a blessing in disguise. It forced us to slow down, to appreciate the intimate atmosphere of the museum, and to focus on the genuine connection between Richard and Alison. It was a privilege to witness and document this significant milestone in their lives.
This photoshoot was the perfect culmination of a year filled with incredible opportunities. I’m deeply grateful for all the amazing couples who entrusted me with capturing their precious memories. Each photoshoot, each love story, has been unique and inspiring.
From sun-drenched engagement sessions to amazing wedding vows, 2024 has been a whirlwind of emotions and creativity. I’ve learned, grown, and honed my skills, and I’m incredibly proud of the work I’ve produced.
Looking Ahead to 2025: More Stories to Tell
As I look forward to 2025, I’m filled with excitement and anticipation. I can’t wait to see what new stories unfold and what new couples I’ll have the honor of working with. My goal remains the same: to capture authentic, heartfelt moments that you’ll cherish for a lifetime.
